A new, great leader is born – Den store ledaren.
Den store ledaren will soon release their debut album together with us. Den store ledaren is the Gothenburg based band that previously gave the world the video hit Dansa Fredrik Reinfeldt.
Begraver en vän was the first singel release from the forthcoming album followed by Nazi disco at the boarding school and En drömmare. The album itself could be described as an epic pop and synth influenced album, with great lyrics and tough harmonies. It is produced by the band and mixed by Charlie Storm (Håkan Hellström, Hurula, Mando Diao, Henrik Berggren among others).
Earlier Begraver en vän was named by Zero Music Magazine as one of the best songs of 2023. En drömmare was listed in 2024 on the Best Right Now list by Zero Music Magazine. Further more has Stockholm College Radio listed all singles by Den store ledaren.
With all this said, Den store ledaren mixes indie synth disco, new wave, car synth, postpunk, krautpop, electronica, cocktail synthpop, shoegaze, Ennio Morricone pop and some crooked jazz tones with wayward lyrics about life, death, love, hate, political musings, flight from the present, spiritual deliberations, self reflections and the overwhelming absence.
