High Hope is Emma Stenberg’s musical alter ego that represents a fresh start. With one foot in the country music and the other in the singer songwriter genre, High Hope speaks a simple and heartfelt language.
Emma’s musical adventure began at an open mic night in New York 2002. After returning home to Skellefteå 2 years later, the adventure continued and after she found her musical soulmate Johnny, the music took off. New songs were written, some were played extensively on the radio and Emma & Johnny got the chance to play live on Hultfred’s Rookie Stage and compete in the Country SM.
In 2016, Emma suffered from fatigue / burnout, why she put the guitar and songwriting on the shelf.
Now, after a few years of silence, Emma has once again found her voice and strength. Which we all should all grateful for.
