In any case, this is how singer and songwriter Rickard Nilsson explains the new song;
– There is always a desire for how you want to sound. Most of the time it doesn’t turn out exactly as you imagined. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why it’s fun to release music – that you constantly strive for the unattainable perfect, the exact feeling, the exact soundscape?
With this new single, have we perhaps come all the way? Everything is exactly as it should be. A story about friendship that has to fight and love that never disappears. A song that squeezes the best out of most that leave you empty but still filled again.
Alexander Bergil, who has produced the Gothenburg band ”Terra”, is responsible for production, mix and mastering. What a job he has done! The balance between lyrics and music is absolutely perfect, everything interacts with perfect finesse. Even hearts of stone will cry at the sadness. Because it is about sadness but still happiness and longing. Like autumn when it listens for the echo of the summer that has passed.
