Emma Hallin – We All Love You

Katalog

After a number of years of silence, Varberg’s Emma Hallin is now back with a real rock bang.
In itself, this new song represents a pretty big leap from much of what she has previously released under her own name. That said, we recognize both her finesse and voice to the fullest.

And this is how the artist herself describes the new song:
– We All Love You is a song about letting go of the inner doubter and social expectations for a desire to rediscover your passion and embrace your dreams even if you may feel lost or inadequate. It is about vulnerability and at the same time a triumphant will to keep fighting and find home again.

Behind the name Emma Hallin you will also find Bjarki Kjellsson. Together they have shared a deep friendship and love for music since the 90s. They come from different backgrounds but have always found their way back to each other through music – a common driving force that is as raw as it is honest.

Emma herself has her roots in the Stockholm punk scene and was previously part of the punk band Diza which was signed to Stockholm Records. She is also active in Elusive Hearts, an emotional project together with Bjarki Kjellsson and friends Elin Hedberg and Robin Razz.

Bjarki, on the other hand, is a multi-instrumentalist and creative engine who records and produces a lot of music and together they share a passion for strong melodies and personal expression.

Emma and Bjarki have recorded and released a number of singles under the name Emma Hallin through us (seven with this one), but it has been a number of years since their last piano-based ”I Pay You A Dollar” was released, this new one is something completely different.

Their sound? A mix of heart and blackness where each song bears traces of decades of music making – on its own terms.
