Puffin was a Swedish pop indie band from Umeå. Togehter as a band they were active in Sweden mainly during the mid 90s. The band played a kind of odd experimental pop/indie with elements of varying instrumentation, in its own way they were actually quite unique and had a local underground scene profile in Sweden.
Of course they were part of the Swedish pop and indie scene during that time, but as a band they did not reach the general public, not even the fairly large indie crowd that existed during this period. Rather they had cult status in certain circles.
However, the band toured relatively actively in Sweden, including gigs at clubs and smaller festivals during their more active time.
So with that said, a cool band that definitely fit in with us.
