Yesterday The Bear Quartet’s ”Gay Icon” celebrated its 25th anniversary. But not only that, yesterday it was exactly 30 years since we released this incredibly wonderful and captivating (with quite dark lyrics) album with some influences from acts like The Smiths and Sundays. Or as I remember it all; stylish, ”kind”, indie-pop with a large dose of self-irony. Or as Fozzie wrote, an album full of excellent pop music.
And now that I listen to it today, I can honestly say that it can be listened to over and over again.
