It has now, today, (if everything is correct) been thirty years since we released this classic pop album with a bunch of rowdy individuals from Luleå. This was also the band’s fourth album, an album that in a very significant way showed a completely new path for them. Gone was their previously characteristic distorted guitar mangle, now they moved the melodies forward in all their simplicity. A bunch of new instruments were also used to record this album, which by our standards took quite a long time, not least the violin arrangements were quite lavish. And yes, I am terribly proud of this album. I know that today there are many who have objections to it, but I disagree, because on Everybody Else there are a lot of awesome songs, not least the last track ”Nowhere’s Clearer” which was on repeat by me 30 years ago. With all this said, this is and remains a milestone in our musical history.
